Phillip Schofield hints friendship with Holly Willoughby is over with subtle move

Phillip Schofield has been away from the media ever since it broke out that he had lied about having an affair with a much younger male colleague. The former This Morning host used to have a very close relationship with Holly Willoughby, who is still the main face of the popular ITV show.

However, there were rumours circulating that their close relationship was tense as they were feuding. When the news broke out about Schofield's affair, Willoughby was quick to remove her tribute to her former friend from her social media handle.

Could it be that Phillip Schofield has finally moved on too in a very subtle way?

Phillip Schofield removes Holly Willoughby from his Instagram

As mentioned above, Phillip Schofield has been leading a quiet life since he was shunned from television. However, there are rumours that Schofield is writing a book about his ordeal and even one that he may join Piers Morgan on TalkTV.

Schofield has also been taking a break from social media and hasn’t posted anything in months. However, the former This Morning host has now removed all traces of Holly Willoughby from his Instagram.

A source told Daily Mail:

The fact that Phil appears to have removed them from his page is very telling about how he feels about Holly. He seems to have moved on for good now, and is trying to leave Holly behind

This could be a subtle hint that Phillip is moving on from that period of his life. It is interesting to note that he still has photos with other co-stars Alison Hammond and Josie Gibson.

Phillip Schofield has also unfollowed Holly Willoughby

Not only has Phillip Schofield removed all of the photos of himself and Holly Willoughby, but he has also unfollowed her on social media.

As reported by Express, Schofield unfollowed Willoughby almost two weeks ago. To show their support for their father, Phillip’s two daughters, Molly and Ruby, have also unfollowed the This Morning host.

On the other hand, Holly Willoughby still has photos of her and Phillip together and still follows her former friend on social media but has removed her tribute to Schofield from her social media handle.
