Phillip Schofield said goodbye to his whole career after it was revealed that the former This Morning host had lied about having an affair with a much younger male colleague. Soon after the affair was revealed he was axed by ITV and was dropped by his agent.

Since then, the 61-year-old has been living discreetly, taking time to process the whole ordeal. Shortly after the scandal broke out, ITV revealed that Schofield was in counseling. Then he was hit with more bad news as his elderly mother spent some time in hospital for an unknown illness.

Phillip Schofield could be coming back to TV
As reported by Mirror, Phillip Schofield was seen meeting up with former This Morning colleague, Vanessa Feltz. It is believed that Feltz met Schofield to ‘test the waters’.
More under this adMore under this adSources speculated that Vanessa took this opportunity to promote TalkTV, on which she herself is a host. As per Mirror, the source said:

They then added that Schofield is allegedly considering job opportunities:
But in the last few weeks he has begun to entertain offers and consider what his next steps might be. When he met with Vanessa earlier this month, she suggested a conversation with Piers about Talk TV and he was open to that conversation.
However, it is interesting to note that Phillip’s lawyer has previously denied prior rumours that he would be joining TalkTv.

A second source has speculated that the former This Morning host may be planning to publish a book as he has allegedly been approached by various publishing companies:

The source then adds that if he goes down this route, it could be a very lucrative option:
