Love Island’s Montana Brown reveals her newborn baby’s name and this is what it means

Montana Brown shot to fame in 2017 after her stint on ITV2’s Love Island series 3. The 27-year-old star announced her pregnancy with her fiance Mark O'Connor in December 2022. Ever since the announcement she has been sharing titbits of her motherhood with her fans and followers.

Last week, Montana begged fans to give her tips on how to bring on her labour. She said:

Right, I need all the tips and tricks to get this rascal out please.

Love Island’s Montana Brown’s son’s name

And the ‘rascal’ came out on June 23 to put her out of her misery. Revealing the birth of her son on social media, Montana shared a picture of her son sleeping on her chest on her Instagram. She wrote:

Welcome to the world Jude Isaiah O’Connor we’re so smitten with you little man 23.06.23

Her fiance Mark commented:

He's here.

According to The Sun, Jude is a gender-neutral name of Greek origin. The name translates to meaning ‘praised’ in English. Many of her Love Island friends rushed to congratulate her, Molly-Mae Hague wrote:

Oh wow. Congratulations Mon.

Love Island’s Montana Brown and fiance Mark - here’s how they met

Montana and Mark met in 2020 in Barbados on New Year’s Eve, confirmed The Mirror. However, her relationship is not the fairytale people think it is. She revealed:

People assume it’s a romantic story because we met on New Year’s Eve and kissed at midnight.

But we didn’t initially like each other. We went on dates, but there was no spark or fireworks.

We got along well and I realised he was a man of his word. I’d had experience with unreliable men, whereas I trusted Mark from the get-go.

She added:

For Valentine’s Day, he got me flowers which blew me away because I knew he wasn’t a big gesture person. That’s when things got more serious.
