Love Island’s Kady McDermott under fire yet again as Scott defends himself over ‘unaired row’ claims

Two times Love Island star Kady McDermott may not have been ‘the bombshell’ we wanted her to be in the villa, but she’s been dropping bombs ever since her exit. In the MANY podcasts that Kady has done after her second appearance on the show, she has spoken about Islanders candidly and given insights into the villa.

In her recent podcast appearance with Love Island’s Sam Thompsons, she accused Scott Van Der Sluis of having ‘bad manners’ and a bit of an attitude.

Kady McDermott and Sam Thompson call out Scott for bad manners

Sam Thompson - who does the officialLove Island podcast with Indiyah Pollack and appears on Aftersun every week with Maya Jama - also has his own podcast called Staying Relevant. Sam got Kady to make hopefully her last appearance on his podcast where they discussed Scott and his behaviour in the villa.

Chatting with Kady, Sam said:

I heard that Scott clicked at producers, heard he had a bit of an attitude in there.

The 27-year-old pocket rocket waste no time in adding to Sam’s statement and said:

He basically kicked off one day and Mehdi lost his s**t at him.

[Scott] pushed his plate and was like, ‘this food is s**t, there’s no protein, where’s the food?’ And Mehdi, like, lost his s**t and said, ‘you are so ungrateful’. It was a big, big argument.”

She added:

Again, I like Scott but he just had some bad manners and that’s facts. I saw Scott the other day and there’s no beef but like, it’s a known fact.

Love Island’s Scott defends himself

According to The Sun, Sam and Kady’s remarks didn’t go down well with the 22-year-old Welsh footballer. He slammed out and said:

Sam mate what are you chatting?

On an Instagram Live later, he clearly addressed the accusations and said:

I never clicked at producers, who every is saying that is talking rubbish.

This isn’t the first time an Islander has rubbished Kady’s remarks. Previously, Mitchel Taylor and Zachariah Noble have called her out for speaking too much unnecessarily.
