Currently, she is in the process of bankruptcy proceedings, so her house may be repossessed. So, quite a lot going on in this lady’s life, a really difficult period.

Harrington continued: ‘As I understand it, she had been drinking, she was lonely, and she decided to go and see a friend who lived a relatively short distance away, and that is when the incident happened.’

Price was found guilty of her charges and is set to face sentencing on the 15th of December, with the delay allowing her to attend rehab at the Priory Centre and consult with the probation services. Price has also been slapped with another driving ban. Chair of the bench Ms Julie Hutton sent Price off with a warning:

We regularly send people to prison for driving whilst disqualified. On that basis, Ms Price, you are free to go, and good luck at the Priory.

‘Our worst fears nearly came true’

On Tuesday morning, Katie Price crashed her BMW on the B2135 near Partridge Green. An image shared to Twitter by police showed the car rolled on its side, with officers confirming that ‘A woman, 43, was arrested on suspicion of driving while above the legal limit for alcohol and drugs, and has been taken to hospital to be checked over.’

The crash came just one day after the star appeared on ITV’s Good Morning Britain, admitting that she was banned from driving until later this year.

Today our worst fears nearly came true. As a family we have been and will continue to help Kate get the help she needs. We hope that she will realise that she cannot battle her issues alone.

‘We would kindly ask that the media and wider public give Kate the time and space she needs to seek the necessary treatment, so that she can hopefully return to the Kate we know and love as a mother, daughter and sister’

Katie has had a lot on her plate

During the hearing, Katie’s defence attorney made the point that Price has had a lot on her plate, and it seems he wasn’t wrong.

Most recently, Price was allegedly assaulted in her home, resulting in her sustaining minor injuries to the face. The police arrested a 32-year-old at the scene, who is currently out on bail, but not much else is known about the supposed incident.

Soon after the alleged ‘unprovoked’ attack, Katie appeared at the NTA’s with eldest son Harvey, only to have rumours spiral that she and 32-year-old fiance Carl Woods had split up, with guests telling tabloids that Price had been flirting with other men - all of which the star denied.

Woods also spoke out on Instagram multiple times after the alleged assault, after trolls believed he might have been responsible. Carl defended himself, saying he’d ‘never do a thing to hurt Katie.’ Price later came to his defence online and revealed he had nothing to do with the incident.

Not only does it seem that Katie has been facing some bumps in the road in her relationship, but the TV personality also broke both of her feet while in Turkey last year, requiring an eight-hour surgery to fuse her bones back together.

Price also declared bankruptcy in 2019 after failing to repay her £12,000 per month debt.
