Gogglebox fans devastated by tragic news of iconic star, Mummy Pat's death

As people watch, they have certain households that they prefer as you would with any show. However, it has sadly been announced that one of the stars, Pat Webb has sadly died. The news was shared on social media by her son and Gogglebox buddy, Stephen Webb as well as Gogglebox’s official Instagram page.

Gogglebox took to social media to announce that Pat Webb had died over the weekend. The statement explained that ‘Mummy Pat’ had died at the age of 75 after ‘a long illness’. It is not specified what the long illness was.
CGogglebox's statement read:
We are deeply saddened to announce that Gogglebox star Mummy Pat Webb passed away this weekend at the age of 75 after a long illness. Pat was a much loved cast member on the show from series 10 -12 alongside her son Stephen.More under this adMore under this ad
Mummy Pat will be remembered and missed by her children Stephen, Denise, Sharon, Beverley and the extended family. Our thoughts are with the family who have requested privacy at this sad time.
Pat’s son, and fellow Gogglebox star Stephen Webb also paid tribute to Pat and shared a loving message on Instagram with several photos of the mother-son duo. He wrote:

How long was Pat Webb on Gogglebox?
As per Sky News, Pat Webb joined Gogglebox in 2018, after Stephen’s friend, Christopher Seed decided to leave the show allegedly due to the pair having a falling out.

After the news was shared that Mummy Pat had died, many Gogglebox fans took to social media to express their condolences.
