As we all know, Will Smith has apologized twice, but Chris Rock seems to be in no mood to either forgive or let go of the 'slapgate' controversy.

For the unversed, Will Smith smacked Chris Rock after he had joked about his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith's Apelecia-induced baldness on Oscars 2022 night and asked the presenter to 'keep' his wife's 'name out your f*cking mouth'. Smith, soon after the incident made global headlines and was watched by millions live on TV, has since been banned from attending the Oscars or any other Academy-related event for the next 10 years because of his 'unacceptable' behavior. He won the Best Actor award just minutes after the incident for his role in King Richard.

According to a report by Arizona Republic, Chris Rock compared going to the Oscars as 'returning to the crime scene', and the hosting offer to asking the late Nicole Brown Simpson 'to go back to the restaurant' where her mother had left a pair of glasses the night of her death, as per the publication.
For those of you who aren't aware, this was a direct reference to the infamous 1995 double-murder case involving former star athlete O.J. Simpson.
