More under this adGranted, actors are humans and are prone to making mistakes, too. But how much is too much?
It is 2022, and such a shame that Sam Elliot is still referring to Jane Campion’s Oscar-winning The Power of the Dog a ‘piece of s**t’ for her supposedly tainted version of the American West.

The train wreck that is Ezra Miller
In 2022 alone, the The Flash actor has courted numerous controversies, some resulting in restraining orders, assault & disorderly conduct charges. But, two of their most damaging scandals involve threatening the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) and grooming minors, as reported by the Vanity fair.

The most shocking of it all, however, is the accusation of grooming the then 12-year-old Tokata Iron Eyes, who uses she/they pronouns and goes by Gibson, after the two met at Standing Rock Reservation in North Dakota in 2016. In a court document, Tokata’s parents have accused Miller of exhibiting ‘cult-like and psychologically manipulative, controlling behaviour’. In June, another parent came forward stating that they had sought and were granted a temporary harassment prevention order against the actor for behaving ‘inappropriately toward’ their 12-year-old, stated a Fox News report.

Surely, it was one of the most beautiful nights of his life but Oscar winner Will Smith—who had just won an award that same night for his role in King Richardas tennis stars Venus and Serena Williams’ father Richard Williams—decided to slap host Chris Rock instead.

Soon after, Smith reached out to Rock and has apologized to him, according to a report by the BBC, but the two are far from being friends. The Academy, too, has banned the Hollywood star for 10 years because of his unacceptable behaviour.

It was rather disappointing to see a veteran actor like Sam Elliot to question three-time Oscar-nominated director Jane Campion’s understanding of the American West, as portrayed by her in her Oscar-nominated film The Power of the Dog.
In an interview with Marc Maron’s WTF podcast, as reported by Advocate, Elliot called her work ‘a piece of s**t’ and said hateful things about her for inserting ‘allusions of homosexuality throughout the movie’.

Campion got back at him by calling him a ‘little b**ch’ and called his remarks ‘sexist’, claimed a report by The Wrap.
