The profession of actor and actress sometimes requires heavy commitment, and shaving the head is among the most difficult requirements for film roles. Natalie Portman, for example, had to cut her entire for her role in V for Vendetta. She told InStyle magazine at the time of her decision:

'It was very weird when it grew back... When my hair was short and I had to go to events, my hairdresser used a small straightening iron, instead of a normal-sized one.'
