This is the most dangerous sexual act

Cunnilingus is a sexual practice loved by many, which aims to relax and allow one to totally let go.

If it is done well, cunnilingus can help someone reach new levels of pleasure. The orgasm is also scientifically recognised for its immense virtues for the human body. A healthy sex life is of course highly recommended, as part of a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

So what's the problem? How could cunnilingus be deadly for some?

The danger was laid out in an illustrated pamphlet:

In England, 18 women died over the course of 20 years due to air being blown into the vagina during cunnilingus. The problem is that a pregnant woman has dilated uterine vessels and air bubbles can pass into the circulation and cause a fatal embolism for her and the baby.

Surprising, no?

Journalist Anouk Perry looked into the matter and highlights this article dating from 2013 which effectively explains that several women have died because of orogenital sex.

Her partner forcibly blew into her vagina. She immediately collapsed and died 35 minutes later.

Note that it is not a very good idea to blow into your partner's vagina and that even if cases of death are extremely rare, it is better to be safe than sorry!

Other sources have confirmed that ‘blowing into the vagina is no joke, because it can cause pneumoperitoneum, requiring surgery. Abdominal pain, convulsions, even coma and death have been recorded.’

Of course, remember that when done correctly, cunnilingus is extremely virtuous for body and mind. It is only blowing air into the vagina which is not recommended.
