Nowadays, who has the time to the gym? It's such a chore. Luckily there are a few 'quick fix' exercises that you can do from the comfort of your bedroom. Because yes, making love can help you to lose weight.

The best way to lose weight could actually be to just have sex. We know what you're thinking - this is just some made-up theory intended to incite a particular interest, right? But actually, it makes sense. Exposing different parts of your body to extended amounts of physical endurance will improve the muscles in that area of the body.

It turns out that spooning your partner could make you lose weight, as well as strengthen certain parts of your body, and there are ten sexual positions that are more effective for this than others. The 'cowgirl' position, for example, a favourite for many, has been found to burn more than 300 calories in 10 minutes. In 'doggy style' on the other hand, the pelvic floor and core muscles are activated for the woman. For the man, the abs are tightened, and the back is mobile.

Meanwhile, half an hour ofsex, in general, helps to burn 85 to 150 calories, about as much as a 30-minute jog. Changing positions several times during sex is the best way to go, this is like interval training, and it's a great cardiovascular workout. Sex also released endorphins, which make you feel good as you are working out.
