‘When you’re not drinking enough water, the connections in the brain aren’t made as well and the cells begin to weaken, not to mention the blood begins to thicken and doesn’t circulate as well, and no longer oxygenates the brain properly,’ says Dr. Thomas Kassab to the French newspaper Le Figaro.

If you cannot get your foundation or finishing powder to hold properly, without a doubt you’re dehydrated, since the lack of water impacts the dermis and the epidermis. When dehydrated, the skin cells are no longer well sealed together. As a result, the skin tightens, small wrinkles appear at the corners of the eyes and mouth and so the makeup does not fixate.
