It all started when a meme started making rounds on the internet claiming that Zelenskyy is worth $1.4 billion dollars. Many were shocked to hear this. One even commented that he has more wealth than ‘Will Smith, Chris Rock and Dave Chapelle combined’.

Volodymyr Zelenckyy, previously an actor, became president of Ukraine in April 2019. Before his presidency, he worked in several movies and TV shows like Servants of the People. Factually he owns 25 per cent of the shares in the production house that produces this comedy show. In addition to shares, the Ukrainian president is also said to own some real estate and property shares worth around four million dollars, including an expensive flat in the centre of Kyiv.
As per Forbes, Zelenskyy and his wife have around two million dollars in their bank account and another million with cars and jewellery. Rumour has it that the Ukrainian president also owns luxury yachts, private jets and shares in Tesla and Meta, among others, however, this could not be proven.
