After new shellings near the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant in Ukraine, the UN is called upon to react urgently.

While the clashes continue in Ukraine, new strikes took place on the nuclear power plant of Zaporizhia this Thursday 11 August 2022. If the Ukrainian and Russian troops continue the conflict with these strikes, the situation can become even more critical. The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) alerted the UN Security Council of this disaster.
