There are over 45 eye-related problems that can qualify you for extra payouts.
They include Cataracts, Macular Degeneration, Glaucoma, Retinitis Pigmentosa, Retina and optic nerve-related diseases, Diabetic Retinopathy and many more.

Attendance Allowance isn't means-tested so it doesn't matter what other money you have coming in or how much you have in savings.

Anyone who needs support throughout the day or some part of the day/night to stay safe or complete personal care tasks due to a disability or illness may be eligible for the benefit.

Brits can get either £68.10 or £101.75 a week / £272.40 and £407.00 per month depending on the level of care they need due to their qualifying health problem.
More under this adMore under this adOther benefits you get - such as Extra Pension Credit, Housing Benefit Reduction and Council Tax Reduction - might increase if you get an Attendance Allowance.
You won't be able to get it if you already receive PIP or DLA to pay for your care.
To apply for an Attendance Allowance, you will need to complete a long claim form.
