To clean your washing machine you can get a designated washing machine cleaner. These types of products have been specially designed to remove grease and grime without damaging your machine.
If you don’t want to go out and buy a special cleaner, you can always use bleach. Be careful when using bleach to clean your machine as if you use too much it will over-foam and damage the machine. So be sure to get the right dose.

- Empty the drain hose

- Clean the washing machine filter
Simply unscrew the filter until you can completely remove it from the machine. Once unscrewed, check the filter as well as the reservoir for any unwanted objects. To clean the filter itself, simply run it under hot water and if needed, scrub it with a toothbrush. Once cleaned, you can place the filter back in the machine.
