You don’t need to pour litres of fabric softener into your machine! White vinegar works just as well. Using a thick product like fabric softener actually clogs up your pipes and makes your clothes harder. To prevent this, pour 100ml vinegar into the tray when you start the rinse cycle. Your machine will work perfectly well and your clothes will come out spotless.

2/ Stop washing your clothes at 60°

People always say that you need to wash your clothes at 60° to disinfect and sanitise them. Wrong! The ideal temperature on your machine is between 40 and 60°. If you go higher than this temperature, you could end up ruining your clothes.
