Andrey Gurulyov, a MP and former military commander, has stated that the UK should be next on Russia’s hit list.

Vladimir Putin went on a vicious rant about the UK at the Eastern Economic Forum on Tuesday 12 September during which he questioned Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s level of understanding about what British intelligence is doing in Ukraine. He went on to threaten the UK, claiming Brits ‘underestimate’ Russia.

Why Gurulyov wants Putin to attack the UK

The lawmaker appeared on Russia-1 with other guests and host Vladimir Solovyov. The group was discussing Putin’s heated speech at the Eastern Economic Forum. Putin slammed Rishi Sunak and claimed that Brits ‘underestimated’ Russia.

Gurulyov agreed with Putin, labeled Rishi Sunak a ‘target’, and went so far as to say Russia should attack the UK with missiles:

Ukraine war could become international

If Russia were to attack the UK it could spark an international war, because NATO recognises an attack on a member country as an attack on all members, as Newsweek points out.

However, Gurulyov seemed adamant that an attack on the UK should be Russia’s next move:

I don't think there's a target in the U.K. which our armed forces couldn't handle...What, do we not have targets there?
