Artemis-1's mission to the moon
From the countdown of the rocket launch to the day by day progression of the mission, all will be livestreamed for you to watch from the comfort of your own home. Artemis-1 will be launching to space en route towards the moon tomorrow 29 August at 8:30 am local eastern time form the Kennedy Space Center on Merritt Island, Florida.
More under this adMore under this adIn person tickets to view the launch and feel the vibrations of the rocket leaving the planet from the visitor complex were made available but have recently sold out ahead of tomorrow's departure. For the vast majority of people who will not be able to attend the lift off in person, a livestream will be made available through a variety of different services.
How to watch the mission?
NASA will be hosting a range of events to celebrate the latest landmark mission to the moon with celebrities expected to make an appearance as well. From Keke Palmer to Jack Black, live music and other entertainment all will be covered live and available for streaming on their Nasa TV page – which is also available on YouTube. The launch of the rocket and the rest of the mission can be followed in real time the Kennedy Space Center’s YouTube channel.
