McDonald’s has taken inspiration from the Mediterranean, with two new menus titled ‘Taste of Italy’ and ‘Taste of Spain and Cyprus’. Over summer, new items will be available in the UK including halloumi fries and tiramisu McFlurry, as reported by The Independent.

Taste of Italy
First up is the ‘Taste of Italy’ menu which will be available from Wednesday 8 June to Tuesday 26 July. Two brand new burgers will be available, the Italian Stack - featuring mozzarella and a herb bun - and the Crispy Chicken Italiano - featuring basil pesto, mozzarella, and a ciabatta-style bun. The new menu will also include mozzarella dippers and tiramisu McFlurry.

Next will be the ‘Taste of Spain and Cyprus’ menu, which features another two new burgers, the Spicy Spanish Stack - including a spicy tomato sauce and paprika bun - and the Chicken Fiesta - which is the same but with chicken instead of beef. Alongside, you can get halloumi fries and Spanish Fruit Punch. This menu will be available from Wednesday 27 July to Tuesday 6 September.
