As reported by Mirror, supermarket giant Morrison is going to be offering steep discounts and drastically reducing food prices for people in the UK through a new loyalty scheme called My Morrison scheme, but there is a catch.

The new initiative by Morrison has been called a ‘game-changer.’ The current offer by Morrison is set to rival Tesco’s Clubcard, which offers members exclusive deals and huge savings on simply scanning their Clubcard app. The member’s only scheme has been hugely popular for all shoppers.
More under this adMore under this adMorrison’s member’s only loyalty card is however not open to all and it is available only for people who possess an OAP, NHS worker or on Universal Credit.

If you qualify for Morrison’s loyalty card, you simple have to sign up for it and you can immediately start enjoying its benefits.
Right now there are deals available for major savings in Ben & Jerry’s ice-cream as well deals on chocolate tubs.
A spokesperson from Morrison is quoted as saying,
