Love Island Stars Give Testimony To MP's Investigating Reality TV

The 3 former Love Island Stars are set to provide evidence of their treatment on the dating show months after its aftercare process was scrutinised following the deaths of Mike Thalassitis and Sophie Gradon.

They will be questioned by the Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Committee about how race, gender and body image are represented on current reality tv programs.

As well adding to their official twitter account questions regarding how producers of these reality programs influence participants and how they prepare the participants for life after the production.

Love Island did update their aftercare processes following the tragic suicide of Mile Thalassitis. Providing additional psychological support and giving islanders social media and financial management training to help them feel less overwhelmed with their sudden surge in online attention and increased income.

The Committee will also be questioning former guests of the Jeremy Kyle Show following the death of Steve Dymond who sadly committed suicide after failing to pass a lie detector test which was said to confirm that he was unfaithful with his partner, accusations that he had originally denied.
