Jean-Luc Brunel, a friend of Jeffrey Epstein's who is accused of abusing Prince Andrew's sex slave - Virginia Giuffre, has been found dead in prison. According to the French daily newspapers Le Monde and Le Parisian, the discredited fashion agent was discovered hung in his prison cell at La Santé in Paris last night.

76-year-old Brunel was charged with rape and sexual assault of minors, including three 12-year-old sisters, and was remanded in custody in December 2020. During his time with Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, he was also investigated for human trafficking and being a member of a criminal conspiracy.

He is thought to have been a significant part of Epstein's inner circle, having formerly been described as the paedo multimillionaire's best pal and pimp. As such, he is sure to take many of Epstein's and his heinous secrets to his grave. And just like his pal who was found hanging in his apartment in 2019, Brunel has escaped justice too. After he was discovered overnight, prosecutors started an investigation into the reasons for his death.
Reportedly, he was found dead at 1 a.m. during a night check by jail guards. The French fashion agent was questioned after his detention about his supposed ties to several people. This is said to involve Epstein, as well as friends of the late pervert financier, such as Maxwell and Andrew. While Brunel is described as Epstein’s best pal, he has denied involvement in any of his crimes. In a statement released in 2015, he said:

Virginia, an Epstein victim who resolved a sex case with the Duke of York out of court last week, claims Brunel farmed out modelling aspirants to the paedo, as well as other men, for sex. She also claims she was compelled to have sex with Brunel at Epstein's house. In 2020, Virginia launched an attack against Duke over Brunel's detention. Prince Andrew has always vehemently denied any wrongdoing Giuffre stated in court documents filed in August 2019.

In a 2015 affidavit, she alleged Epstein boasted of having slept with over 1,000 of Brunel's females. Brunel met Jeffrey Epstein through Ghislaine Maxwell, whom he had known since the 1980s. Many of Brunel's alleged misdeeds are said to have occurred in an Epstein-owned Paris apartment.
