As per Healthline, a mixture of glass cleaner and liquid detergent is another effective way to manage an ant infestation. This is because the chemicals in the liquid solution help wipe away the pheromone trace that ants use in order to keep track of the places they frequent.
For this, all you need to do is mix cleaning spray with liquid detergent and spray the mixture on those areas of your house where ants seem to appear most frequently. Wipe down the area after spraying but do not wipe away all the solution. Leave a light residue behind.
