1/ Deodorise the rubbish bin

In order to eliminate bad smells as well as possible, there are 2 effective tricks. First, you can opt for baking soda. How? Pour the product into the bottom of your bin and place the bag on top. The odours will be automatically absorbed by the bicarbonate. Otherwise, you can try something more unusual and test the bread and vinegar technique. What is it? This trick consists of soaking a slice of bread with white vinegar and placing it at the bottom of the bin; this will absorb the smells. Of course, change the bread slice every 2 days to prevent it from rotting.

3/ Choose the right bin bag

It may seem trivial, but it's not. It's best to choose a bin bag that fits perfectly with your bin to prevent waste from falling under, or between the bag and the bin, and eventually stagnating and rotting. How to choose one? Simply measure your bin and get a bag that is big enough.
