Nationwide inflation relief scheme

The public is set to receive these payments via direct deposit or a tax rebate paid out as cash. With different parameters to determine the eligibility of the amount receivable in various states, it is said that most residents will qualify for some amount of money.

Californians are set to receive anything between $200-$1050 as direct deposits. According to Marca, the state offers different schemes for married/registered partners, widowers, singles and so on.
Colorado
Colorado has opted for a one-time tax rebate check of $750 for individuals and $1500 for joint filers, per CNBC Make It. The eligibility extends only to tax filers and not their dependents.

Hawaii is offering a one-time relief check of $300 each for single filers and their dependents who earned less than $100,000 as of 2021. Taxpayers who earned more will receive $100 each.
Idaho
One can qualify for the check if the taxes for 2020 and 2021 are filed before the end of the year. With the state tax surplus already being circulated as bonus rebates, a single filer receives about $300. This ison top of the $75 per taxpayer and dependent.

With already existing tax rebates available for the residents, New Mexico residents already automatically receive a rebate between $250-$1000, depending on their annual income. These payments are dispersed with no action needed by direct deposits or checks.
