Aldi is a supermarket that has grown in popularity over the years. Similar to Lidl, it offers great deals and can easily make your weekly shop cheaper. Now it seems they are looking to expand their brewery section and are on the lookout for official beer tasters, can you be one of them?

Aldi has decided to launch a new range of beers, lagers and ciders. The new range will launch on September 15, 2022, as reported by Metro.

How to apply
Naturally, if you want to be an official Aldi beer taster, you have to like beer, in fact, they are looking for ‘beer enthusiasts’ to be exact.
Julie Ashfield, managing director of buying at Aldi UK, said:
We’re looking for someone with passion and excitement when it comes to craft ale, but who can honestly review our range and provide suggestions as to how we might improve it for next year.More under this adMore under this ad
To apply, you need to send an email to Aldibeertaster@clarioncomms.co.uk. In this email, you’ll have to explain in 150 words why you believe you are the perfect fit for this job. You will also have to share which beer is your favourite and why.
You’ll also be required to send your full name, proof of age (copy of driver’s license or other forms of ID) and any social media handles you may have.

Applications end on August 29, 2022. The winner will be chosen on September 2.
The successful applicant will be given ten beers to taste and thoroughly review.
