‘I’ve been doing it all wrong’
Mark Brown who boasts more than one million followers on his TikTok account @rightguysreview demonstrated the ‘proper’ way to tie a dressing gown belt in a now-viral clip. But the dad sparked a huge debate as he showed the ‘life hack’ first-hand.

For years and years, I got my dressing gown and put the straps like this and tied it. Apparently, I've been doing it wrong.
He starts the viral clip by showing the normal technique, which most people know best - where the belt is placed through all loops before simply tying it at the front.

He added:

The public is torn
The method involved looping the belt through the front loop and then the adjacent loop, pulling the belt to tighten, and then tying it at the front as normal.
While Mark seemed revolutionised by the new demonstration, many weren't sold on the unique technique.
Viewers sparked a debate in a comments section of the video as they were torn over the method.
