How to properly channel the warmth of your radiator

The report shares advice from the experts at Your Plumber. As per their advice, you should not place anything too near the radiator. The space in front should be cleared of any furniture.

But, you should put shelves above any radiators. What it does is, it stops the hot air from the machine to rise up and above. Instead, because of the shelves, the warm air is channeled into your room.

Again, you can also cover the back of your radiator with ' a thin sheet of card with tinfoil.' Doing this will reflect the radiator's warmth into your living quarters, leading to your home warming up faster.

Bleeding your radiators regularly

Along with the above hack, you should always ensure that you bleed your radiator. This should be done as part of your radiator's regular maintenance in order to get rid of any cold air pockets in it.
