Two canine behaviour experts, Professor Daniel Mills and Dr. Emily Blackwell, led a study into the behaviour ofdogs when they are left home alone. They set up cameras to film dogs' reactions. When Alex and Nancy discovered how their dog Max reacted to being left at home, they were moved to tears.
