A loving cat with ‘a heart of gold’ was callously abandoned in the cold
More under this adThis friendly tabby cat was heartlessly abandoned outside the shelter in a flimsy cardboard box. Lucky to be rescued, the sweet-natured pet is now desperate to find a loving family.
Tuesday the tabby cat was dumped in the cold outside one of the RSPCA centres on a November Tuesday. Rescued and warmed up by the charity’s staff, the friendly pet won everyone's hearts. People can’t understand how someone could abandon such a sweet and loving fluffy family member.

Dumped with no explanation
Tuesday was placed in a flimsy cardboard box and left outside the RSPCA Newport Animal Centre in November. There was no note or explanation of the abandonment.
More under this adMore under this adAccording to centre's manager Nikki Tutton, the pet managed to escape the box and was ‘hanging around the car park’. It was a cold morning so the feline ‘was very pleased to be picked up and brought into the warm’.

We named her Tuesday as she was found on Tuesday.
The charity’s staff quickly discovered Tuesday’s ‘very loving nature’ and assures that she ‘has a heart of gold’.
More under this adMore under this adDespite having been dumped in such a cruel way, the kitty is still trusting and friendly to people. She loves to play and explore and is ‘often found throwing her toys around in glee’.
Tuesday is ‘super social’ and has a lot of love to give and ‘would choose a cuddle on your lap over any toy any day of the week’.

Tutton added:
She has an exceptionally sweet temperament and may be suited to living with a family with children as she loves to play and craves attention.More under this adMore under this ad
‘It is just heartbreaking’
The centre that rescued Tuesday is currently working at full capacity with prioritising animals that come in through the inspectorate.
Tutton commented:
Sadly, animals are on occasion abandoned outside our gates - it is just heartbreaking. We are also getting calls from people - sometimes on a daily basis - asking for us to take on their pets, but unfortunately, this is something that we are unable to do.More under this adMore under this ad
Though the RSPCA appreciates that the cost of living crisis 'is really taking hold' and is causing pet owners to struggle but believes that dumping animals is not the answer as help is available.
