Storing eggs in the fridge door won't keep them fresh

Experts have explained to Daily Mail why eggs shouldn't be stored in the fridge door despite it having a specifically designed compartment. It is simply because of the constant temperature change you create as you open and close your fridge door. This constant change accelerates the process of making your eggs go off.

Egg racks are susceptible to changes in temperature due to the fridge door opening and closing and can cause your eggs to go rotten more quickly.
