McFlurry is one of the most popular items on the McDonald’s menu. According to Mashed, it exists in the McDonald’s menu in 99 countries. Surprisingly, it was actually first invented in Canada by a franchisee named Ron McLellan in 1995.
As per the report, the irregularly long shape of the McFlurry spoon is also so that it is easier to fit into the stirring machine. Also being hollow, it is convenient for the company to pack and ship them away easily to far-off countries.
