However, as reported by Express, customers at a McDonald’s in Bristol got way more than they bargained for, as they faced a harrowing experience while dining inside the fast-food restaurant.

McDonald’s in Bristol attacked
The McDonald’s at Hengrove was assailed by a group of youngsters, who attacked the establishment, hurling bricks through the restaurant's windows. All this while there were many diners eating their food inside.
More under this adMore under this adThe horrified customers were left petrified and trapped as the rowdy gang broke down two windows in the McDonald’s. The incident happened on March 3 in the evening. The incident has been confirmed by Avon and Somerset Police.
Express also cited an eye-witness account by a man who dined at the restaurant with his family during the event. According to him, the group of youngsters were between 10-13 years-old.

What transpired at the McDonald’s
He described the incident as follows,
A boy] started launching himself at one of the staff, kicking and punching him, pushing them into the window.More under this adMore under this ad
I'd already ordered the food, so we sat well away towards the front window, and then the commotion just got louder and louder and louder.
Next, these big red bricks just came launching out the window, smashing them, and everybody [inside] had to move to the back because of shards of glass.More under this adMore under this ad
It felt like it went on for like 15 minutes. The two big windows were completely destroyed.
These kids were literally blocking the doorway, we were trapped, and nobody could get in or out; the loose bricks were just flying.More under this adMore under this ad
The noise was horrendous.
Avon and Somerset Police’s spokesperson made the following statement concerning the incident,
Enquiries are ongoing following an assault and criminal damage at a business in Bristol on Friday March 3.More under this adMore under this ad
A number of youths visiting McDonald's in Hengrove were said to be being a nuisance, and they were asked to leave by a member of staff who was reportedly racially abused by the group and assaulted, causing a finger injury. We were subsequently called at 7.30 pm.
