McDonald's brings back fan-fav breakfast item with a catch

McDonald’s breakfast bagels have been a very popular item in their breakfast menu. As reported by Chewboom, McDonald’s is bringing back their breakfast bagels for a limited time only. This would also include the iconic Steak, Egg & Cheese Bagel which fans have been asking the company to bring back for years.

However, there is a major catch in the company’s latest decision. McDonald’s is bringing back the fan favourite item only in select cities for the moment. These locations include Michigan, Indiana, Pennsylvania and New England.

As per a statement by the company published by MLive,

For years, McDonald’s fans have been clamoring for their return.

Now, customers can enjoy three different breakfast bagels including the iconic steak, egg and cheese.

There are 3 different kinds of bagels to choose from:

• Steak, Egg & Cheese Bagel: A bagel freshly toasted with real butter that holds a tender, juicy steak patty, a fluffy folded egg, two slices of melty American cheese and savory grilled onions.
• Bacon, Egg & Cheese Bagel: A toasted bagel with butter, thick-cut applewood-smoked bacon, a fluffy folded egg, and two slices of melty American cheese.
• Sausage, Egg & Cheese bagel: A freshly toasted and buttered bagel with a pork sausage patty, a fluffy folded egg and two slices of American cheese.

McDonald’s breakfast

McDonald's first introduced breakfast items in their menu during the early 1970s. McDonald’s tested their ‘continental breakfast’ range in 1971, and introduced the egg McMuffin in 1975.

Since then the company has not looked back in terms of how popular their breakfast items have become, with fans always hoping that their neighbourhood McDonald’s restaurants would bring back All Day Breakfast. Hopefully, the latest bagels will arrive at McDonald's in your city very soon.
