The classic guacamole is one of the easiest dips to make. Not only is it creamy and delicious, but it is made of avocados which have been labelled a super-food by nutritionists and so, it is also good for health.

- Scoop out the flesh from a ripe avocado and put it in your bowl.
- Take a fork and mash the avocado. You can also do this using a mortar and pestle if you prefer. Mash the avocado according to the consistency you like: whether smooth or a bit chunkier.
- Squeeze lime juice according to taste.
- Add salt and pepper.
- Garnish with coriander.
You can elevate this dip by adding finely chopped onions or tomatoes and even paprika for some heat.
