The foolproof way to cook pasta
To be sure to portion the pasta correctly with the right amount of water, here is the method to follow: 1 - 10 - 100.
This means that for one person, you need:
1 litre of water
10 grams of salt
100 grams of pasta
For two or more people, you will have to multiply the amounts according to the number of guests.
How to cook your pasta properly?
Into a large pot, pour 1 litre of water. The size of the pot is important, it must be large enough to give the pasta room while cooking and avoid sticking together. Once the water is boiling, add the salt and then the pasta. Salt lengthens the cooking time, so it should be added at the same time as the pasta. Cook the pasta for the time indicated on the packet, ideally al dente for easier digestion.

Once the cooking is finished, just drain the pasta and enjoy it with the sauce of your choice. Remember to keep a little of the pasta cooking water to make the whole dish creamy.
