But don’t worry, there are ways to help keep the spiders out of your home. As reported by Mirror, TikToker @plant.based.kate explained that all you need is an 89p tub of Vapour Rub (yes the stuff you rub on your chest when you’re ill)!

The TikToker, who admits she is scared of spiders, reveals that you simply rub the Vapour Rub - or Olbas oil - into your windowsills and door frames.

She explained:

Spiders have little taste buds in their feet and they hate mint so when they taste the mint, they won't come in, it's a really ethical way to stop spiders from getting in your house.
