Dressing up like a man but need to be a tad more convincing? Well, all it takes to realistically fake stubble is a mascara wand and some brown eyebrow gel. Dip the mascara wand into the eyebrow gel (the bigger wand helps to speed up the application). Next, stipple the brush over your skin wherever you want the beard to be. Ta-da!
Pro tip: Remember to use a light hand, you can always go over areas again if you require more coverage.
Fake wounds
Slit mouths (or throats) are a popular Halloween aesthetic which you can master by following these simple steps:
- First, apply mascara glue in the shape of your desired wound
- Next, separate a sheet of toilet paper into a one-ply pieces and tear it into strips
- Stick the toilet paper onto the eyelash glue and cover in more glue using a tapping motion (if the paper wrinkles, this is fine as it gives a realistic texture)
- Blend the edges of the paper into the skin using extra glue
- Dry the glue with your hairdryer on the cold setting (about 10 minutes)
- Paint red using lipstick, or cover in your homemade fake blood mixture!
