African braids
Does your hair tend to curl, frizz or go greasy in the rain? Go for a tightly braided hairstyle, ideal for limiting the appearance of frizzy hair and controlling the volume of your hair. There are many braided hairstyles that will do the trick, but African braids are by far the best to withstand the weather. If you can manage it, boxer braids are also an ideal hairstyle.

The wet look
This 'wet look' hairstyle will keep your hair looking good even on a rainy day. To achieve this, apply a glossy wax or gel styling product to the whole length of your hair, styling it towards the back of the face. It's done, it looks great, and it'll hold!
The low ponytail
Ideal for long or medium-length hair, this glossy ponytail is ultra-effective in bringing hair to heel, and limiting the occurence of frizzy hair in humid weather. The trick is to apply a mist of hairspray over all of your hair to create a protective film and shine up the hair.
