If you’re a fan of McDonald’s, you’re probably going to be happy, or at least surprised, about this recent bit of news. The international fast-food chain has decided to try its hand at fashion. Yes, McDonald's has decided to release their own swimwear line made from old plastic straws. Fast food chains made the decision to ban these straws back in 2019 in order to respect the environment and be more environmentally and ecologically responsible.

According to GQ, these swimsuits are made from recycled fabric which, as it turns out, is actually a mixture of straws and other plastic waste that has been collected from the sea.

The fast-food chain decided to make these swimsuits in Austria. The collection includes a one-piece with yellow and red stripes for women and swimming shorts with the same design for men.
The only problem is that this swimwear will only be available in Austria and their availability will be limited. However, if the collection proves to be a success, the chain might actually open it up to the rest of the world. But in the meantime, we have to admit that they look amazing. May need to cop a pair from eBay!
