Contrary to popular belief, the shower is not the ideal place to wash your face. Why is this? Because the temperature of the water you use on your body is often too hot for the very thin skin on your face. The result? Water that is too hot dries out and irritates your epidermis. Dry patches and redness can then appear.
Forgetting to wash your feet
Few people admit to it, but many don’t wash their feet in the shower. Assuming that they are in direct contact with the soapy water that slides off the skin, some people feel that this is enough and don’t rub their feet. However, the opposite is true. With perspiration and bacteria sticking to your feet during the day, it's important to wash them properly by washing between each toe.

While it is very practical to leave your bar of soap, razor, or shower puff lying around in the shower or in the bathtub, from a hygienic point of view this is far from ideal. The bathroom is a hot and humid area that is conducive to the proliferation of bacteria.
If your shower accessories stay in this environment, they will become full of germs that you then apply directly to your skin the next time you use them. Once you've used them, it's best to rinse them off, let them dry, and then put them away.
