Hair transformation: After a radical makeover, this woman came out looking like a different person

If there's ever a day in your life to pull out all the stops and make sure you're looking your best, it's your wedding day, especially when it comes to our hair. And that is exactly what a woman by the name of Holly decided to do.

Damaged and overstyled hair

Holly had damaged and overstyled hair, which had been growing for a long time instead of having been trimmed and taken care of, and it had suffered as a result. Even when our hair is brittle and damaged, it can be hard to say goodbye to our lengths and start over. But Holly decided it was time.

Finally ready for her big day

Sara Pestella, the owner of the Avant-Garde hair salon in Destin, Florida (USA) along with stylist Jeremy Hartfield, worked with Holly to give her a complete hair makeover.The transformation took 7 hours with the colouring and the cut. And the result? Her new hair came out looking brand new and absolutely incredible; Thanks to her new hair Holly looked ready for her big day - even her husband didn't even recognise her! Holly was also lucky enough to win one whole year of hair cuts and maintenance, free of charge! No longer feeling the need to hide under her locks Pestella added:

Holly feels beautiful in her own skin [now].

When talking about Holly, Sara continued:

She always felt like she needed to keep her hair long because of what her dad said: 'A woman must have long hair or she wouldn't be pretty.'

Looks like Sara didn't agree with that statement!
