Talking to The Sun, Isabela Chatwin recounted her ordeal:

When I woke up my skin looked completely fine for the rest of the day, the next morning it was bright red.

I thought it was just a sunburn and that was as bad as it was going to get.

But the very next day after her long nap in the sun, she woke up with an extremely swollen face! Her skin was also covered with painful blisters. Her eyelids were so puffy she could hardly even open her eyes. Her own little sister didn't even recognize her.

I woke up the next day and it was puffy and blisters on my cheeks and it was painful.

And the matter did not stop there, in fact, it got even worse! Indeed, Isabela told the Sun that by the fourth day, her face swelled up so much that the blisters had burst.

I could barely open my eyes, I could barely see, I thought it was going to be permanent. I was really scared.

Sun poisoning is a rare phenomenon that occurs when the body is in a state of extreme dehydration. Our body is no longer able to regulate our internal temperature.
