This story is about a Brazilian woman named Rosangela Almeida who was 37 at the time. According LADBible, the family believes that she remained alive for ‘11 days’ after the funeral and that, in that time, she tried to escape her coffin.

A chilling discovery
According to the family, once they had reached the coffin and opened it they made a horrifying discovery.

Upon noticing those bloodcurdling details, the family alleges that these marks of struggle weren’t present when Almeida was buried. Not only that, it is reported that people who saw the body as it was being removed from the coffin claim that the woman’s body was still warm, therefore believing that she had died not long before.
The police concluded that she wasn’t buried alive
However, even though the family and onlookers claim to have heard Almeida groan and bang on the coffin, the police have not found any proof of those claims.
