Indonesian Fashion Designer Makes Hand Bag Out of Children’s Bones

Social media gives us the ability to keep a close eye on all the up and coming trends coming out of the fashion world, which is typically a good thing. However, it also gives people a platform to display some horrendous pieces, like this bag by an Indonesian designer.

Arnold Putra, a fashion designer and influencer from Indonesia, recently made one of the most gruesome bags we’ve ever seen... and not because it's totally ugly.

This ‘fashion' item was made from alligator tongues and has a handle that was created out of an entire child’s spine. This cruel fashion design quickly went viral and was seen by people from all around the world.

That being said, the designer assures that the materials for this $5,000 bag were obtained ‘ethically' as a result of a medical surplus in Canada.

According to reports from Spanish publication La Verdad Noticias, this bag was made in Los Angeles and was marketed as part of a unique collection. It was made in 2016, but only became popular around the world after the Indonesian designer put it on sale.

The designer has repeatedly stressed that the bones from the child’s spine were obtained from a company that is licensed to deal in human remains and that it had apparently been donated to science. However, these facts have never been confirmed.
