Humiliated Due To Her Skin Disease, She Decided To Turn Herself Into A Work Of Art

While she was ashamed of her body because of her illness which she was diagnosed with at the age of 12, she has now decided to make it into a work of art that has been praised on social media.
At the age of 12, Ash Soto discovered that she suffered from a chronic disease known as vitiligo, which leaves colourless patches on the skin.

As the stains on her skin became more and more numerous, Ash became ashamed of her body and was teased throughout her teenage years. One day, a little girl asked Ash if she had showered with bleach, which only amplified the complex Ash had with her skin.
More under this adMore under this adWhen she was older, Ash Soto decided that her skin would no longer be a burden for her. She stopped hiding her skin for fear of ridicule, and little by little she grew more accepting of herself until today where Ash Soto regularly transforms his body into a work of art.
She told the Daily Mail:
I had never realised how beautiful my vitiligo was before tracing it with a black marker, it really helps to bring out all the colours of my skin.More under this adMore under this ad
Since then, she has reproduced the works of famous painters like those of Van Gogh, which she combines with her skin. Ash Soto now believes that she has turned her problem into a work of art which is in perpetual renewal.
