After Going Missing For Three Years, This Camera Was Found Full Of Fascinating Photographs

A mysterious camera was discovered on the beach in Taiwan after a young woman lost it in the ocean over three years earlier.

On 27 March 2018, a young Taiwanese student recovered an old camera while cleaning on the beach in Yilan County during a school trip.

The student in question first found a waterproof cover covered with shells, before realising with amazement that the camera was still inside. Its owner, Serina Tsubakihara, had lost it in the ocean, thinking never to find ... its 900 photos! Taiwan News reported that the children turned on the device to see its contents, thinking they would manage to find the owner.

While the battery was still miraculously charged, they were able to discover that the most recent image was made on September 7, 2015, and that the landscape looked a lot like Japan. To continue their investigation, they, with the help of their teacher, published a post on Facebook, announcing their find, all accompanied by some photos taken from the device.

As a result, the miracle took place, since Serina stumbled upon the publication, and recognized her clichés. This English student at Sophia University in Tokyo then contacted Park Lee, to tell her who she was. In June 2018, she planned to fly to Taiwan, to personally thank the students and recover her camera. She wrote on Facebook:

I am so lucky and happy to have a wonderful experience that shows me the kindness of people.
