This Woman Unexpectedly Bumped into a Shark After Diving into Bahamian Waters (VIDEO)

It was an amazing and unexpected encounter, to say the least. On Friday, August 7, an American tourist from Miami was celebrating her birthday in a tropical paradise: the Bahamas. Who wouldn't dream of going there, with family or a lover, and swim in the island's turquoise waters? Sounds heavenly to me.

She and her friends decided to go for a cruise on a friend's boat, and ride an inflatable slide into the ocean, because why not? So, Iso Machado did just that.
More under this adMore under this adAs her friends and relatives cheered her on, she slid into the water and... surprise! As you'll see in the video at the top of the article, a huge creature suddenly emerges at the surface of the water. The shark was about 2.5 meters long!
Iso's son, Anthony, who was filming, immediately urged his mother to stay calm, as you can hear in the video:

While everyone on the boat panicked, Iso took her son's advice and kept her cool. Unfortunately, her son stopped filming, likely out of fear that something might happen to his mother.
Jam Press, who shared the video, asked the son a few questions about what happened after he stopped filming. Apparently, the shark grazed Iso before changing course. She then got back on the boat in one piece!
More under this adMore under this adIn the end, Iso Machado was more amazed than terrified by the encounter:
“She was actually really happy and felt lucky to see one so close,”her son told Jam Press.
As for the shark, it was actually a "nurse shark." They're usually harmless to humans but can bite really hard if they feel attacked.
The video has been viewed more than 3.4 million times, according to RTL Belgium.
