Equinox, Septembre 23
The Autumn or fall Equinox will occur on the same dates for both the Northern Hemisphere and Southern hemisphere. The beginning of the ‘astronomical autumn’ will commence after the Equinox on September 23, at 01:04 GMT (September 22, at 09:04 EDT) for the Northern Hemisphere. The same date and time are for the Southern Hemisphere as well which will ‘mark the beginning of spring Equinox’.

Equinox is a celestial event during which, the day and night on the earth is almost the same because the Earth neither shifts away from the sun, nor toward it. The astronomical event occurs twice a year, in March and September, when the sun is right above the Earth's equator.
The Earth’s axis is also rotated at an angle of 23.5 degrees. According to Starwalk:
